Tabor Hills Senior Living Campus has been dedicated to caring for our senior population for 130 years. Tabor Hills Senior Living offers an Independent Living Community, Supportive Living Community, and a Healthcare Facility.
We have a great opportunity for a Full Time Dining Services Aide to join our team in our Healthcare Facility.
- STARTING RATE IS $15.25 PER HOUR.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Works on serving line.
- Checks meals for accuracy before they leave the kitchen area.
- Assists Cook, as needed.
- Washes pots, dishes and silverware according to dishwashing, pot washing procedure. Puts clean pots/dishes and silverware away. Cleaning of equipment and kitchen floor/refrigerators as assigned.
- Takes trash out to dumpster.
- Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
- Delivers/serves food.
- Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
Qualifications
1. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. EXPERIENCE: Preferred.
3. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting 75 TO 100 pounds by self with frequent Lifting and/or carrying of objects. Exerting considerable force frequently and/or intermediate force constantly to move objects and residents. Reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and visual near acuity.
4. TRAVEL: May travel within campus.
5. WORKING CONDITIONS: Considerable exposure to disagreeable conditions, including odors, infection, and illness.
6. PRINCIPAL CONTACTS: Works with elderly residents, families, and other health care members.
7. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be capable to execute all terms and conditions set forth in the EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK, including, but not limited to:
a. Works in a safety conscious manner, which ensures that safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to others in the workplace.
b. Complies with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
c. Adheres to policy on Drug Free Workplace.
Interacts in a tactful diplomatic and humanistic manner with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers to provide a safe, efficient and therapeutically effective caring environment which insures the self-respect, personal dignity, rights and physical safety of each resident and facility guest.
Maintains a dependable attendance record and adheres to standards of cleanliness, grooming, hygiene and dress code.
