Event Sales and Content Associate
You'll be the enthusiastic face of The Ground in the community, promoting our unique offerings by distributing marketing materials and sparking interest about our events.
- Promote Events: Distribute marketing materials to local businesses, community centers, and popular spots around town, raising awareness of our in-house offerings.
- Engage with the Community: Attend local events, festivals, and networking gatherings to build genuine connections with residents and business owners, enhancing our local presence.
- Maintain Client Relationships: Follow up with interested customers, answer questions, and provide exceptional service to ensure they feel valued and their needs are met.
- Capture Visual Content: Photograph and film events, behind-the-scenes moments, and the charming details of our venue to showcase our unique atmosphere.
- Craft Social Media Posts: Create engaging posts with compelling captions and eye-catching visuals that resonate with our audience and reflect our brand's personality.
- Interact with Our Online Community: Respond to comments and messages, initiate conversations, and foster relationships that build a strong, engaged following.
- Share Community Insights: Communicate feedback and ideas gathered from local interactions to align our offerings with community interests.

Requirements
- Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management, with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or communications.
- Technical Skills: Efficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft programs.
- Relationship Building: Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals. Proficient in using CRM systems to track interactions and follow-ups, ensuring personalized and effective communication.
- Proactivity: Proactive in seeking out opportunities by attending local events, joining community groups, and engaging with businesses to promote The Ground.
- Social Media Experience: Experience in capturing content and creating engaging posts on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others. Knowledgeable about social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to maximize engagement and reach.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. You understand that the event world doesn't always stick to a 9-to-5 Monday through Friday schedule.
- Reliable Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for delivering marketing materials and participating in off-site events.
- Collaboration: Eager to collaborate with a diverse team to bring events to life, communicating effectively and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability: Able to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities with ease.
