JOB TITLE: Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remove full pallets of product from production area, label boxes as needed, weigh finished product to verify counts as needed.
• Completes proper paperwork for delivery vehicles and fork trucks i.e. pre-trip inspections, daily delivery logs, etc.
• Maintain shipping area: organize work area; keep shipping area, dock area and delivery vehicles clean and free of debris.
• Prepare material for shipping to customer.
• May unload and receive incoming shipments, verify counts of incoming material.
• Verify pulled parts for shipment to Rittal per daily requirements
• Assist Receiving Department with receiving duties, which include: unloading incoming shipments, inspection and counting of incoming material, and moving incoming material into proper warehouse locations.
• Assist warehouse in picking orders for production and picking daily orders.
• Pick up and deliver product to customers per daily schedule set by Shipping Area Supervisor.
• Foster positive attitude toward TAC Industries’ goals.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Must have a valid Driver’s license with less than 6 points, as driving to different locations is required.
• Be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to count accurately (for inventory).
• Forklift training provided.
