Summary :

This Project Manager role, with a focus on scheduling expertise, supports critical aviation R&D initiatives for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. Combining strong project management skills with advanced scheduling capabilities, you will manage project schedules, track Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), perform risk analyses, and drive collaboration across teams. The role also involves leveraging tools like Smartsheet and integrating emerging technologies, such as generative AI, to optimize workflows and enhance project outcomes. Ideal candidates are experienced project managers with scheduling expertise, self-starters, and effective communicators who excel in dynamic, high-stakes environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Schedule Management : Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project schedules aligned with program milestones and organizational objectives. Perform risk assessments to address scheduling conflicts and resource constraints.
• Performance Tracking : Create and monitor OKRs and Key Performance Indicators KPIs to measure project success, conduct performance analyses, and generate actionable reports using tools like Smartsheet.
• Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with leadership, program managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, share updates, and drive best practices. Actively participate in working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Innovation & Process Improvement : Leverage emerging technologies, such as generative AI, to enhance project management workflows and data analysis. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support consistency and efficiency.
• Training & Guidance : Provide training and mentorship to team members on scheduling techniques, project management methodologies, and best practices.
