Tachus Fiber Internet (“Tachus”) is seeking an outstanding individual to fill the role of Finance Associate. Tachus is a fiber broadband internet provider delivering service to the Greater Houston area since 2018. The ideal candidate should be an experienced, highly organized, and energetic self-starter with a successful track record of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Corporate Finance Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance team in financial and business analysis, annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and liquidity management. The Finance team works cross-functionally with other teams within the organization to report financial and operational information. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior management, gain exposure to corporate finance functions, and contribute to the company's growth and success. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis, to support tactical and strategic decision-making 
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by preparing financial forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing insights to drive financial performance 
  • Capital Markets Activities: Assist in capital markets activities, including equity and debt financing, investor relations, and preparing materials for presentations to investors and stakeholders 
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, board of directors, and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank and regulatory requirements 
  • Cash Management: Update weekly cash forecast and liquidity management, including intercompany reimbursement transaction reconciliation, as well as bank borrowing and funding requests 
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Collaborate on various ad hoc projects and initiatives as directed by senior management, providing analytical support and recommendations 

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: 

  • 1-5 years of experience in a highly quantitative role - (banking, consulting, private equity, or corporate finance) 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with a track record of academic excellence 
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint  
  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, etc. are a plus 
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality of work. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to assess and present recommendations  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively 
  • Desire to grow and develop relationships across the organization  
  • Team player with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving

This is a salary exempt position, starting pay based on experience and level of expertise. This is a full-time position located in The Woodlands, Texas. Relocation will not be provided.
