Role: UX Researcher
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite).
Duration: Long Term
The UX role has been updated now to be more of a UX Researcher rather than Designer.
They haven’t changed the details on the requisition, and we can’t connect with the stakeholder, yet, however I thought I’d share and see if we can find any profiles more orientated on Research rather than Design.
Sr. UX Designer (Research) The UX Designer will support key product initiatives for the Talent Discovery teams. They will work with UX, Product, and Engineering team members to design experiences that help employers easily find and organize candidates on Indeed.
The contractor’s responsibilities will include generating design concepts and hypotheses, building prototypes for user research, iterating on detailed design solutions, collaborating with other UX designers, and defining UX specifications for development. They will work both independently and in collaboration with other designers to create design briefs, research plans, and detailed design solutions for product features.
Skillset - Must Have:
4 years of product design experience.
A portfolio that demonstrates experience using UX Design best practices to take an idea from hypothesis to solution.
Solid communication skills with an ability to collaborate compassionately and inclusively with cross-functional partners (Design, Product, Engineering).
Ability to understand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and decisions for complex design solutions.
Demonstrated experience using research and data to support design recommendations.
Experience designing and building prototypes in Figma.
Additional requirements - Nice to have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design or related field.
Experience designing in Enterprise product teams.
Familiarity working with both front-end and back-end engineers.
Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and experience working within a design system.
Ability to navigate and create definition in ambiguous projects and problem spaces.
Experience setting up research plans and prototypes.
