Finomus Home Loans is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Loan Processor. This vital role will be responsible for efficiently managing and processing loan applications, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

This is not a remote job, you will be asked to come into the Bridgewater, NJ office

Responsibilities :

As the Loan Processor, you will be responsible for :

1. Application Review : Thoroughly review and analyze loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

2. Document Collection : Coordinate with clients, loan officers, and other stakeholders to gather all necessary documentation for loan approval.

3. Verification of Information : Verify applicant financial information, employment details, credit reports, and property valuations to ensure accuracy.

4. Communication : Maintain open and effective communication with clients, providing updates on the status of their loan applications and addressing any inquiries.

5. File Preparation : Prepare complete and organized loan files for underwriting review, ensuring all required documents are included.

6. Compliance Adherence : Ensure all loan processing activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.

7. Timely Closing : Work closely with all parties involved to facilitate a timely and smooth closing process.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications related to mortgage lending a plus.
• 3 years of experience in loan processing within the mortgage lending industry.
• Proficiency in Encompass software is required.
• Proficiency in loan origination systems and processing software.
• Proven experience in broker loan registration.
• Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and industry regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Compensation : $ 55,000 to $65,000
