Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register, and a commitment to creating a positive experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in balancing the cash drawer.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving any issues.
• Upsell to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: $16.75 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
