About the Job:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Store Leader to join our Taco Bell team! As a Store Leader, you will have the opportunity to drive customer satisfaction and profit maximization in one of our restaurants. You will be responsible for managing the restaurant within company policies and guidelines to ensure operational excellence.
This leadership position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to train employees, respond to customer service needs, and model appropriate behaviors in the restaurant. Your goal is to build a culture of recognition while motivating the team to achieve operational excellence.
The Day-to-Day:
- Culture Leadership
- Develop and implement strategies to drive culture, problem solve, and resolve conflicts.
- Recruit and equip high-quality operators to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Build a strong bench of developed and capable Managers and Team Members.
- Lead performance management process for all employees in their restaurant.
- Lead by example, be a culture champion, and embody Taco Bell's HUNGRY principles: Hungry, Understanding, Never Follow, Grateful, Relentless, and Youthful.
- Provide leadership and coaching, developing Managers and Team Members.
- Customer Experience
- Develop and execute corporate & local marketing programs to drive customer engagement.
- Create a safe working and customer experience environment by promoting safe work behaviors among team members.
- Control day-to-day operations by scheduling labor and ordering food and supplies to meet the needs of a $500k - $2.0m restaurant with average daily transactions of 300-700.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies.
- Drive customer-focused culture by serving as a role model in resolving serious customer issues and training managers to meet or exceed customer service standards.
- Analyze and identify root causes of customer complaints and Speed with Service, leading the management team to implement systematic solutions and performance standards.
- Develop SMART action plans to resolve issues in their restaurant.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a High School diploma, with a University Degree preferred.
- 1 - 4 years of operational management experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility.
- Proven business math and accounting skills to manage profit & loss, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Basic personal computer literacy.
- A dynamic, energetic, and positive leader who is a self-starter, proactively driven to get things done, and does the right thing for the business.
- Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction.
Salary:
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
