Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Team members are responsible for the completion of various tasks related to food preparation and service, as well as maintaining a clean and pleasant dining environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and thank customers in a timely manner.
- Accurately take customer orders through verbal communication or automated systems.
- Communicate orders from the service counter to kitchen staff.
- Cook, prepare, package, and serve food and beverages in a safe and efficient manner.
- Stock kitchen and customer service areas with necessary supplies.
- Maintain proper levels of sauces, condiments, paper products, and utensils at salsa bars.
- Deliver food and beverage orders to customers in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Process customer payments using a cash register and return correct change.
- Unload deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Clean the interior and exterior of the restaurant premises, including floors, tables, windows, doors, counters, equipment, and removing unused items and litter.
- Follow alcoholic beverage laws and maintain safe public access to the restaurant.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
