Front Counter Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Front End Associate to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while efficiently managing transactions and providing assistance as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry or retail, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front end area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
• Assist in stocking shelves and ensuring product availability.
• Provide support in food handling and preparation as needed in a café or quick service fast food restaurant environment.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling and ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food service industry, grocery store, or retail environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to help customers effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to café operations or quick service settings.

Pay: From $15.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
