Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Host/Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements while providing outstanding customer service.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the flow of guests into the restaurant.
- Utilize Toast POS system for reservations and seating management.
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with the wait staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
- Support other team members as needed to enhance overall guest services.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast, is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
- A passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences for guests is highly valued.
Pay Information:
- Any support staff receives tips as well as their hourly pay.
