ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
People Development:
- Continuously develop and train Team Members through daily coaching, 1-on-1’s, and
performance reviews. - Partner with the appropriate support office teams as needed.
- Coach and develop Team members in the moment on hospitality, quality, and teamwork.
- Review hiring needs and maintain high practices on hiring practices. Collaborate with the GM to select the best talent that fits with Tacodeli Culture. Partner with the GM to ensure the restaurant is fully staffed.
- Oversee the training effort of New Team Members and coordinate efforts to yield knowledgeable Team Members.
Operations:
- Help cover shifts as needed to fill vacancies.
- Flexible availability, able to open, work a mid-shift and close.
- Educate Team Members on all appropriate HR policies, labor laws, Health Department Regulations, and safety and security procedures and ensure all policies, regulations, and procedures are followed.
- Serve as a liaison between FOH and the Kitchen team and partner with the Kitchen Manager on any execution issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting facility problems. Know who to call and when to call.
- Schedule, supervise, and inspect repairs and maintenance to ensure they are completed appropriately and in a timely fashion.
- Lead by example and hold teams accountable for excellence in product quality, consistency of execution, speed of service, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.
- Utilize and maintain operational documents when needed for FOH and BOH teams.
- Under the guidance of the GM, oversee restaurant performance to ensure excellent Customer Service and restaurant profitability.
- Hold team accountable to proper sanitation standards and perform weekly Health inspections to determine and correct bad practices and reinforce good practices.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Expected to work a minimum of 45 – 55 hrs per week and work nights, weekends, and early shifts.
- Willingness to be hands-on and not afraid to get hands dirty.
- Experience hiring, developing, training, and setting clear expectations and follow-up.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work cohesively in a team environment and perform job functions independently.
- Proven skills in organizing work, attention to detail, giving direction, delegating tasks, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks promptly.
- Strong communication skills and relations with vendors.
- Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to be resourceful, curious, and make decisions.
Salary : $58,700
