Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to uphold the cleanliness and operational integrity of our college facilities. This role is vital in ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will perform essential custodial duties alongside minor maintenance and repairs, contributing significantly to the overall campus experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute routine cleaning and sanitizing of various college facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas, adhering to established standards and procedures.
• Maintain and repair custodial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and other cleaning tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage the cleanliness of diverse spaces, including kitchens, gymnasiums, laboratories, and meeting rooms.
• Lock and secure campus buildings, ensuring safety protocols are consistently followed.
• Follow detailed instructions regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and supplies; maintain accurate records as required.
• Perform minor repairs and touch-up painting as needed to maintain facility aesthetics.
• Organize and set up furniture and equipment for special events and academic activities.
• Transport supplies and waste materials as necessary to support custodial functions.
