ANM with strong Charge Nurse experience
Responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating
Direct care – charge nurse most commonly
Reports to Nurse manager
May have direct reports but unlikely – if assigned will be RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HUCs
Utilize critical thinking skills and independent decision-making regarding patient care
Collaborate with patients, families, patient care teams and community / regulatory agencies
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire
Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
Current BLS certification
ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC certification, as required by facility or department
Certification in specialty area required in one (1) year
Three (3) years of experience in acute care setting
Schedule Information
SHIFT : Night, 3 x 12’s but will have the contract read 40 hours for meetings, etc.
