Tacombi is looking for a Director of Digital & E-commerce to join our team!
Tacombi is seeking a Director of Digital & E-commerce to develop and lead our digital strategy. The right candidate is an experienced digital leader and true omni-channel thinker, who is comfortable balancing tactical execution and strategic leadership. This candidate has experience with foodservice delivery platforms, including owned and third party, and a track record of optimization. This leader will be capable of launching our CPG DTC business, and is an expert in digital marketing (including SEM), paid social, report development, agency management and team building. This leader will have the ability to recruit and manage top talent in the digital space.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Build 2022 and 3-year strategic plans, inclusive of off-premises, DTC and retailers.
- Plan through capital needs of individual plan components, inclusive of a new Tacombi App, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) plan, a DTC site, etc.
- Identify growth opportunities, do budgetary and campaign planning, manage subsequent execution.
- Help Tacombi.com reach its business objectives by leveraging SEM, SEO, affiliate, re-marketing, direct mail, paid social and other innovative mediums.
- Grow Tacombi.com
- Acquire new customers for Tacombi.com and convert users of 3P Apps to owned channels, increasing the percent of owned v. 3P
- Improve the experience for customers using Tacombi.com and our app. Develop quantitative ways of measuring consumer satisfaction before and after changes.
- Gather and leverage data fromtakumi.com and our app to drive business decisions.
- Leverage data to gain leadership buy-in.
- Develop a plan for to complete a better on the customer relationship and enhance the customer experience through digital transactions

- Work with cross functional partners in Taqueria operations and marketing to test other
- points of digital connection with customers
- Develop, build and manage Tacombi's e-commerce and digital infrastructure and strategy to drive a seamless consumer experience.
- Launch Vista Hermosa DTC site with retail products and unique to DTC innovation
- Launch and manage Amazon business for Vista Hermosa
- Launch DTC offering for Tacombi.com, potentially leveraging our Taquerias for fulfillment
- Lead strategy and execution of all brand paid advertising on search and social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and search engines.
- Full P&L responsibility, including budget, hitting sales targets and maintaining bottom line targets.
- Lead email marketing and customer lifecycle programs, including subscription acquisition, retention / reactivation programs and loyalty building communications across all digital channels.
- Support creative production and planning with our internal brand and design teams by providing a constant feedback loop on performance and collaborating on new ideas to iterate and text messaging
- Ensure proper collaboration between IT, Marketing, Creative and other cross-functional teams to deliver on eCommerce and Digital sales and performance objectives
