We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator to lead day-to-day nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care and smooth coordination among staff and healthcare providers.
Position Overview:
As an RN/LPN Unit Coordinator, you will take a key leadership role in overseeing nursing staff, coordinating resident care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll work closely with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote the best possible outcomes and ensure a positive care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized care plans for residents.
- Monitor resident conditions and update care plans accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families and healthcare providers regarding care and progress.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Provide hands-on patient care and support the nursing team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
OR
Active LPN license in good standing (qualified candidates encouraged) - Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and manage multiple responsibilities
- Familiarity with patient care standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory guidelines
