EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES Taconic, a global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts and tapes has the following opportunities available in our Corporate Office in Petersburgh, NY : DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER : Responsible for the development of new products and processes to ensure a competitive market position based on technical and manufacturing capability. Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Polymer Science, Polymer Chemistry, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines. Must have a minimum of three years of Engineering experience. Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships within all levels of the organization. Must be self-driven with strong project management and organizational skills. Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels within the organization. Salary Range $70,000 - $110,000 per year MAINTENANCE MECHANIC : Keep production machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems in operating condition. Associate's degree in mechanical maintenance or related, or four years of equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment. Must be able to determine causes of operating errors and develop appropriate resolution. Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is essential. Knowledge of machines and tools, including power and hand tools is required. Must have a valid driver's license, good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize based on changing work conditions.
