What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Emergency Room RN Contract position at Tact Staff?
Job Summary
A travel nurse RN is sought for a 13-week assignment in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma Center in Lansing, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in ED and level I trauma experience. A strong understanding of dysrhythmias and EPIC charting is required. Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience are preferred.
About the Unit
The unit experiences high patient ratios, typically 1:5-6, with occasional spikes up to 8 patients per nurse on busy days and holidays. The unit accepts first-time travelers and offers opportunities for professional growth and enrichment.

Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a current state license, ACLS, BCLS by AHA, PALS, TNCC, ENPC (pending accepted), and NIH certifications. Previous experience in continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration is highly desirable.
