Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using various equipment and techniques.
- Evaluate the quality of images produced, ensuring proper positioning and accurate measurements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing their questions.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Active licensure in the state where you will be working.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in medical imaging software.
