Job Overview

Tactacam is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead our global production, sourcing, logistics, and distribution efforts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of product manufacturing, international sourcing, and distribution to ensure the seamless delivery of our products to customers worldwide. Additionally, this role will oversee our Returns and Repairs department, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of global production, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics operations.

• Oversee the Returns and Repairs department, optimizing processes to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of production and distribution strategies with business objectives.

• Oversee the management of all owned and third-party facilities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.

• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and 5S to streamline workflows and maximize productivity.

• Negotiate and manage all logistics relationships, ensuring optimal service and cost.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

• 15 years of progressive experience in operations management, with a focus on global production sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and returns/repairs management in the consumer products industry.

• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.

• Experience implementing Six Sigma, Lean, or 5S methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and operational excellence.

• Knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
