Introduction : We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining client relationships, and driving the expansion of our demolition services. This role requires excellent sales skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the demolition sector. Develop a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Market Research : Conduct in-depth market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential client needs. Analyze market data to identify high-potential opportunities.
  • Sales and Networking : Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including project managers, general contractors, and business owners. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company.
  • Client Retention : Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and identifying additional opportunities.
  • Reporting and Forecasting : Track business development activities, pipeline progress, and sales performance. Provide regular reports to senior management regarding revenue forecasts, key opportunities, and industry insights.
  • Travel Requirements :
  • This role requires frequent travel between the Houston and Austin areas to meet with clients, attend events, and support business development initiatives. Candidate must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Client Engagement :
  • This role may require hosting and entertaining clients during evenings or as needed to build and maintain strong business relationships. Candidate should be comfortable representing the company in social and professional settings.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the construction or demolition industry.
  • Strong network within the construction, real estate, or industrial sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
