Armed Security Guard

Job Summary
Tactical Force is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a strong background in surveillance, loss prevention, and law enforcement, along with excellent conflict management skills. The Armed Guard will utilize various security measures, including CCTV monitoring and physical presence, to deter criminal activity and respond effectively to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through surveillance systems and physical patrols to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce laws and regulations while ensuring the safety of clients, employees, and visitors.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security risks or breaches.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations.
• Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, particularly in armed positions or law enforcement settings is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Must possess a valid armed security guard license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Physical fitness is essential; candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
• A background in military service is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must possess own gear (Carrier Plate/ BP Vest).
• Must have reliable mode of transportation and workable smart phone.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
