The Opportunity
As a highly motivated Project Manager focused on network infrastructure/security construction, you will leverage your experience and technical expertise to lead complex projects with numerous cross-functional teams. You plan requirements with internal customers and external partners to guide projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes working with customers to develop project scopes, managing project schedules and cost, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your project teams can span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to report on and keep all the stakeholders coordinated and informed on the project's progress and schedule. You will be responsible for resolving highly critical issues within matrix organization while maintaining rigorous adherence to project timelines and costs.
Responsibilities:
The Candidate would need to be able to design low voltage infrastructure systems
To include the following:
- Outside Plant Cable Pathways
- Inside Plant Cable Pathways
- Meet Me Rooms, Racks, Cabinets, Enlarged Plans
- Fiber Distribution and Termination
- Horizontal Copper Distribution and Termination
- Telecom Grounding
- Coordinate design with in-house Revit Production team (Or provide Revit Services themselves)
- Provide Labeling Plans for generation of Patch/Port Schedules
Candidate should have a well-rounded understanding of low voltage infrastructure standards and be able to perform the following tasks:
- Project Site Observation and Punch Visits
- RFI Responses
- Submittal Reviews
- Weekly Low Voltage Meetings
- Attendance and participation of weekly OAC Meetings
- Schedule Management for low voltage trades
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience focused on construction project/program management.
- Previous data center experience is strongly desired but can be substituted with experience in similar critical environments where work involves impact to core functionalities and is governed with a formal change control process.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast track design build processes.
- Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives on schedule, and within budget.
Preferred qualifications:
- BICSI, RCDD, RTPM, PMP, or similar industry certifications are highly desired.
