Tactive is seeking a Project Manager with a background in the promotional product and print industry. The Project Manager is responsible for providing the highest level of support to the Account Executives and to manage the backend service to our enterprise accounts. Project Managers take the complex client projects through the production workflow in support of the Account Executives. This position is a critical role at Tactive, and relationship building will play an integral part in your success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with Account Executives to support large-scale, fast-turn, high-value client projects, ensuring efficient production workflow and process management.
- Become a knowledgeable resource in Corporate Branding, Direct Mail, Digital Printing, E-Commerce stores, and promotional merchandise to better support Account Executives.
- Multitask efficiently to meet tight timelines, communicating project details with team members and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Participate in team meetings with Account Executives to ensure that project milestones align with client needs and expectations.
- Work with outside vendors and suppliers to secure products, establish production timelines, check inventory levels, and confirm pricing for various projects.
- Provide cost estimates, create orders, and work closely with purchasing to fulfill all project requirements accurately and on time.
- Organize and manage detailed information for each client account to ensure accuracy and track progress through the production workflow.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all project parameters meet the Account Executives' specifications and exceed client expectations.
- Address any production or vendor-related challenges with creative solutions that support the project timeline and quality.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, industry best practices, and competitive insights to continuously improve project execution and outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience in the promotional product and print industry is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of MIS systems such as Avanti Slingshot, Shopworx, PrintSmith or similar is preferred
- Past customer service or project management experience
- Ability to effectively present solutions and strategies to clients and build rapport to become a trusted advisor
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively and problem solve
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or related experience preferred
