The Service Engagement team is looking for a Service Engagement Manager, to join us in setting up prospects and customers for long-term success. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers to develop an initial success roadmap, utilizing Tacton's comprehensive service portfolio to design and structure a service engagement proposal. Your mission is to create a solid foundation for the successful adoption of Tacton solutions while supporting the expansion of our footprint. You will collaborate with delivery partners as needed to enhance the service offering and drive long-term customer success.
About the Role
In this role, you will be the bridge between our prospects/customers and the full range of Tacton services. The SEM’s involvement begins with presenting Tacton Services’ unique values and our best-practice implementation approach to prospects. You will be responsible for creating an initial roadmap for success, assessing customer readiness for CPQ solutions, and collaborating with the Sales Engineer to ensure a smooth transition from the roadmap to project execution.
Responsibilities
- Present Tacton Services’ unique values and best-practice implementation approach to prospects.
- Design initial customer success roadmaps, scoping projects based on customer needs.
- Assess customer readiness for CPQ solutions and implementation projects.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to ensure seamless transitions from planning to execution.
- Participate in strategy discussions, providing insights to help win competitive deals.
- Lead workshops with prospects and customers, assisting with project planning and risk management.
- Ensure smooth handovers between Sales and Delivery teams.
- Work with internal teams, such as Sales Engineering, Academy, and Customer Success, to enhance Tacton’s service offerings.
- Contribute to cross-departmental initiatives to improve customer experience and maximize value delivered to customers.
To be successful in this role, we believe you have
- Proven experience in customer engagement, guiding customers from acquisition to success.
- Broad knowledge of SaaS and service delivery processes.
- Its a qualification, but not a requirement, if you have strong understanding of CPQ solutions and experience in handling sales cases.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and persuasive skills.
- Expertise in software implementation at both project and program levels.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with adaptability and a collaborative spirit.
