Position Overview
As a Med/Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic setting. This role requires a unique blend of broad medical-surgical expertise and telemetry skills to care for patients with both general and specialized needs. You will work with patients facing a variety of conditions, from post-surgical recovery and chronic health issues to those with cardiac monitoring needs. Using advanced telemetry equipment, you’ll monitor cardiac rhythms and overall patient health, promptly reporting changes and supporting patient education for long-term health management.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with diverse medical and post-surgical needs, while closely monitoring cardiac rhythms
- Use telemetry equipment to track heart rhythms, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation
- Quickly identify and report changes in patient conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams to adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on managing cardiac and general health conditions, including medication, diet, and discharge instructions
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
