Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post-operative cardiac surgery patients
- Operate and interpret advanced monitoring equipment, such as EKGs, arterial lines, and pulmonary artery catheters
- Administer specialized medications, IV therapies, and life-support treatments as required
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, post-treatment care, and recovery processes
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in compliance with facility protocols
