Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, anticipating needs and providing instruments and supplies promptly
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during surgery, ensuring their stability and safety
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to provide seamless, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on preoperative preparation and postoperative recovery processes
- Accurately document all perioperative activities, interventions, and patient outcomes in compliance with facility protocols
