As a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and vascular conditions. Working in a highly technical and fast-paced environment, you’ll assist in procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and device implantations. Position Overview
As a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and vascular conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and the procedural area for cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and interventional procedures
- Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures, responding promptly to any changes
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of care
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and sedation as required, following strict protocols
- Educate patients and their families on procedure preparation, recovery, and ongoing cardiac care
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in compliance with facility protocols
