As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures by providing expert perioperative care. You’ll collaborate with the surgical team to prepare patients for surgery, maintain a sterile environment, and assist during procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for procedures by ensuring the availability and sterility of equipment and supplies
- Assist surgeons during operations, anticipating their needs and providing instruments and materials promptly
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition during surgery, ensuring their safety and stability
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other team members to provide seamless, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on preoperative preparation and postoperative care to support recovery
- Document all perioperative activities, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in compliance with facility protocols
