Position Overview
As an IMC/PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, intermediate-level care to patients who are critically ill but stable enough to no longer require ICU-level treatment. You’ll care for patients recovering from acute illnesses, surgeries, or medical events such as cardiac conditions, respiratory distress, or trauma. In this vital role, you will monitor complex conditions, manage treatments, and provide expert care to help patients transition toward recovery.

In this vital role, you will monitor complex conditions, manage treatments, and provide expert care to help patients transition toward recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with complex and acute medical conditions, ensuring timely interventions and care adjustments
- Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, and other key indicators
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans and provide treatments such as IV therapy, medications, and post-procedural care
- Educate patients and families on recovery processes, treatments, and discharge instructions to support long-term health management
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in a timely manner
