We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Agriculture/Heavy Equipment Sales Specialist to join a leading Company located in the Kent City, MI or Holland, MI surrounding area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sells new and used agricultural equipment to new and existing customers
- Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined customer list and defined geographical sales area
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits, including current technology of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
- Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management accordingly
- Utilizes company CRM for all customer information
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Maintains company image with vehicles and equipment
- Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events
- Conducts equipment field demonstrations
- Monitors and understands trends in customers' business activities and timely communicates to management
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
- Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values trends
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- 1 years of equipment sales experience
- Knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment. Farming or operational practices preferred
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
