We have an outstanding career opportunity for an IT Analyst/System Administrator to join a leading Company located in the Wayne, NJ surrounding area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers (Red Hat Enterprise, Ubuntu, CentOS), ensuring performance, security, and uptime.
- Administer Microsoft Server 2016 environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, and Printing Services.
- Oversee VMware vSphere environments, ensuring efficient virtualization management.
- Implement and maintain backup solutions (Veeam, Carbonite Double Take, Veritas Backup Exec) to ensure data integrity.
- Provide technical support for Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations, including hardware installation and maintenance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot networking infrastructure, including VLANs, ACLs, and Layer 2/3 issues.
- Maintain cybersecurity compliance, ensuring adherence to best practices in system security and vulnerability management.
- Support Manufacturing OT infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise IT systems.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system optimization.
- Configure and troubleshoot collaboration and web technologies, including Teams, IIS, PHP, Apache, Tomcat, and OpenSSL.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- 6 years of IT experience, including Windows & Linux server administration. LINUX is a MUST-HAVE!
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft Server (2016 or newer) and VMware vSphere.
- Proficiency with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server technologies.
- Experience with SQL Server, M365 applications, and Autopilot in Intune.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in network protocols, VLANs, VPN tunnels, and firewall configurations.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to support remote teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
