We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Maintenance Tech to join a leading Company located in the Naples, FL surrounding area.With minimum guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks of complex scope and nature in one or more of the following areas : production equipment, diagnosis, and repair of conventional and CNC machinery.Responsibilities : Remove, repair, or relocate CNC machines; install air & water lines; align and adjust machines for production operation.Diagnose defects and perform repair and preventive maintenance to various types of hydraulic equipment, CNC machine tools, building plumbing and related equipment.Construct, install, maintain, repair, and overhaul test stands, fixtures, and related hydraulic equipment.Setup and operate arc and acetylene welding equipment.Perform high-pressure tubing and hose fabrication for hydraulic and pneumatic application and contamination control.Plan, layout, and construct additions, partitions, benches, shipping boxes, and other carpentry.Assist in planning the sequence of operations and methods to be used in overhaul and repair.Check and calibrate new or rebuilt equipment after installation.Identify and repair CNC machine malfunctions.Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and mechanical operations for proper operation.Use precision test equipment.May work with computers and computer software to create and operate programs, reports, and spreadsheets.As a specialized hazardous material technician, may : Coordinate inventory and pickup of hazardous material and maintain a current inventory of on-site chemicals.Advise and assist in clean‐up of chemical spills.Coordinate packaging, labeling, storing, and scheduling pickup of hazardous waste for offsite disposal.Maintain accurate records of all hazardous waste shipped offsite.Initiate compliance inspections.Provide technical assistance on hazardous materials compliance and safe practices.Perform other related responsibilities.Basic Hiring Criteria : High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum five years of related maintenance experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.May require a Hazardous Material Handling Certificate.May require forklift operator certification.Desired Qualifications : May require proficiency with pump and valve overhaul procedures, especially aerospace-associated equipment.Ability to work from blueprints and sketches.Possess the required tools.May require the ability to set up and operate hand and power tools.May require working knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes.Knowledge of general hydraulics technology, , pumps, cylinders, accumulators, filters, piping, tube bending, and piping fabrication for hydraulic and pneumatic applications, may be required.May require knowledge of chemicals and their characteristics.May require working knowledge of computer and computer software to operate programs and create reports and spreadsheets.Required to lift up to 50 pounds.Must demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work with others and be a participative team player.VEVRAA Federal Contractor / Request Priority Protected Veteran Referrals / Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit : / / The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and / or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable : -The California Fair Chance Act-Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance-Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers-San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
