We have an outstanding Contract position for a Quality Inspector to join a leading Company located in Marysville, WA.Pay Rate : $21Shift : Mon - Fri 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pmInspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes, and products used in the construction of aircraft interiors using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. This job reports to the Quality Inspection Supervisor and / or Quality Assurance Manager.Responsibilities : Inspection of incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering, and purchase orders.In-process inspection of parts being manufactured.Interprets and reads engineering drawings and company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.Reject and control non-conforming products.Verify rework is correctly performed per instructions.Perform Mechanical / Physical tests with lab equipment.Work with Engineers, Supervisors and Production personnel to ensure measuring and testing equipment is within calibration.Perform process audits as needed.Active participation in operational improvement activities.Other tasks are needed, and flexibility is key.Willing to work overtime as needed.Basic Hiring Criteria : High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing a plus.Candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.Have a sincere desire to work and be able to work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.Basic math skills.Legible handwriting / printing.Balance multiple tasks / priorities.Use precision measuring instruments.Read engineering drawings, specifications and other technical literature is preferred.Benefits offered to vary by the contract.
