We are seeking an Agriculture/Heavy Equipment Sales Specialist to join our leading company based in the Kent City, MI or Holland, MI area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sell new and used agricultural equipment to new and existing customers.
- Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers within a defined customer list and geographical sales area.
- Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits, including the latest technology of all saleable equipment.
- Monitor competitive activity/products and communicate timely updates to management.
- Utilize the company's CRM for all customer information.
- Adhere to a defined sales process.
- Maintain the company image with vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events.
- Conduct equipment field demonstrations.
- Monitor and understand trends in customers' business activities and communicate timely updates to management.
- Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
- Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
- Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values trends.
- At least 1 year of equipment sales experience.
- Knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment, with farming or operational practices preferred.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
