We have an outstanding Contract position for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join a leading Company located in Everett, WA.
Pay Rate: $20 - $22.00
Job Responsibilities:
- The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for the assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping of merchandise or material.
- Examine contents of shipment and compare with record, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of out-going shipment.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, and space availability for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
- Pack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shipping using work devices such as hand tools/power tools.
- Requisition and store materials and supplies to maintain stock inventory.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of related experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must have basic computer skills and Microsoft Office products.
- Basic understanding of loading trucks and staging and freight preparation.
- Some experience and training of crate assembly and crating department procedures.
- Some experience in shipping department tools and usage (i.e. power tools).
- Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant experience.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs unassisted.
