Tadhana is a Michelin-recognized Filipino-inspired tasting menu restaurant in New York City, delivering an elevated dining experience that celebrates Filipino flavors through a modern lens. As we expand to include tasting menus, à la carte offerings, a full beverage program, and an extensive wine program at our new, larger location, we are seeking experienced Bartenders to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary
Bartenders at Tadhana play a key role in crafting exceptional cocktails, curating unique beverage experiences, and delivering outstanding hospitality. This role requires strong mixology skills, knowledge of wine and spirits, and a passion for creating a memorable bar experience that complements our culinary offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve handcrafted cocktails, wines, and other beverages with precision and consistency.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the cocktail menu, spirits, and wine offerings, ensuring thoughtful pairings with dishes.
- Provide engaging and personalized service to guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant.
- Assist in developing seasonal and innovative cocktail menus in collaboration with the Beverage Director.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all NYC Department of Health and SLA regulations.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies, and tracking ingredient usage to minimize waste.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a fine-dining or craft cocktail bar setting.
- Strong mixology and beverage knowledge, including spirits, wine, and cocktail techniques.
- Passion for Filipino flavors or a willingness to learn and incorporate them into the beverage program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess or be willing to obtain necessary alcohol service certifications (such as TIPS or equivalent).
Work Schedule & Requirements
- Part-time and full-time positions available.
- Must have evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
