✨ What You'll Do
As part of our accounting team, you'll handle essential day-to-day financial operations and get exposure to full-cycle accounting. You'll:
- Process and record customer payments and manage accounts receivable transactions
- Support collections efforts by preparing correspondence and contacting customers with past-due accounts
- Maintain AR reports and track account statuses
- Manage accounts payable from start to finish, including invoice entry and payment tracking
- Perform bank reconciliations, assist with journal entries, and ensure accurate reporting
- Gain hands-on experience with Sage Intacct accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Work closely with the Controller and senior staff to learn best practices in accounting and finance
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or on track to graduate soon)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and comfortable using accounting software (experience with Sage Intacct is a plus!)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A starting salary up to $55,000 per year, depending on experience
