Description
The Local Sales Leader (LSL) is responsible for the training and performance of the sales consultants in their geographic territory. The LSL will work to ensure each Sales Consultant is operating at peak performance and meeting Tadlock Roofing's Mission to make a difference in the lives of our fellow employees, communities in which we live and serve, and our Industry. This role is a hands-on job and is expected to spend much of their time in the field. Sales Leader's will be expected to be on the ground leaders with their local Sales Team providing an industry leading experience for our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable all reporting SC's.
- Building a culture to ensure employee engagement and responsibility.
- Developing a sales plan for the branch and each sales consultant.
- Working with the RSM on a localized marketing plan.
- Identifying and hiring new sales consultants.
- Training new and existing sales consultants in the entire sales process.
- Managing the sales team alongside the RSM.
- Compensation, commission calculations, and processing knowledge.
- Identifying areas of improvement for each SC, developing plans to improve performance, and following up on those plans.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The LSL will be evaluated on meeting and exceeding metric goals.
The LSL is a hands-on job. LSLs will be expected to accompany the sales consultants on sales calls on a regular basis. They will review the SC's sales process and techniques, the ability to connect with customers, ability to create an accurate estimate, CRM documentation, follow-up, and team communication skills.
