Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm welcome.
- Manage the seating chart and efficiently assign tables to guests.
- Communicate wait times accurately and keep guests informed.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the menu and specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, taking reservations as needed.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize Toast POS system for reservations and guest management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
