What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver position at Taft City Elementary School District?
Under general supervision of the Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation and at the direction of the Lead Transportation person, drives school buses on scheduled and special routes. This position is located in Taft, CA. Education:
• Graduation from 12th grade or equivalent
• Qualified to provide first aid and CPR. (May obtain qualification while employed during probationary period)
• Possession of an appropriate, valid California driver license
• Possession of an appropriate, valid California school bus operator's certificate. (Must obtain certification while employed during probationary period if valid certification is not already held)
Experience:
• Previous work as a bus driver, in and around school buses, and/or transportation departments preferred.
Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
Salary : $23 - $28
