The special education teacher, under the supervision of the Director of Special Education and school site Principal, provides a comprehensive educational program for educationally handicapped children. Maintains accurate and complete records on each student and assesses the progress of students on a regular basis. These positions serve students district-wide in small groups. The positions are located in Taft, CA. Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must possess (or be eligible for) a California credential authorizing the teaching of Special Education in a classroom serving students with Mild to Moderate Support Needs.
Experience:
• Previous teaching experience or successful student teaching.
Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
Salary : $57,914 - $102,408
