Job description: We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty to revise Course Outline of Records (COR) for the following Petroleum Technology courses:
PETC 1102 Basic Drilling and Workover Surface
PETC 1103 Basic Drilling Surface Stack
PETC 1104 Basic Drilling and Workover Sub-sea
PETC 1105 Coiled Tubing for Supervisors
Compensation will be at the applicable adjunct rate, up to 3 hours for minor revisions or 5 hours for major revisions per course.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications for this posting can be met in any of the following ways:
bachelor’s degree or higher AND two years of professional experience closely related to the area of assignment; OR
any associate degree AND six years of professional experience closely related to the area of assignment; OR
An Equivalency Determination may be submitted along with all application materials to be considered for this position if you do not meet the stated minimum qualifications. The Equivalency Determination document may be found on the Taft College Human Resources website. AND
Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience teaching petroleum technology courses.
COMPENSATION: $77.02-$90.50 per hour.
