Interim Vice President of Instruction
A key role is available for an Interim Vice President of Instruction to lead, administer and supervise educational programs. This individual will report directly to the Superintendent/President.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in education leadership, with expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and faculty supervision.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent/President in strategic planning and decision-making
- Lead the development and implementation of academic programs and services
- Supervise and evaluate faculty members, ensuring high-quality instruction and student learning outcomes
- Maintain effective relationships with college stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and community partners
- Stay current with best practices in higher education, incorporating innovative ideas into program development and delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in education leadership, preferably in a community college setting
- Proven track record in curriculum development, instructional design, and faculty supervision
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
