What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP?
Taft is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Accounting team in our Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, Indianapolis, or Minneapolis offices.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting with the financial planning and budget process for the firm.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Primary responsibility of becoming a subject matter expert on and maintaining the firm's budget tool to provide financial insight.
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports and communicating budget to actuals to key decision makers.
- Support the financial planning process through monthly forecast processes.
- Assisting with month end close procedures such as journal entries, account reconciliation and expense coding review.
- Provide support to Corporate Controller and Director of Finance as needed.
- Completing research and ad hoc projects as required.
