Job SummaryWe are seeking a Special Education Teacher & Intervention Specialist (Math Focus) to serve in a dual role : 0.5 FTE Special Education Teacher - Work with students with disabilities in a small group setting, providing individualized instruction and support. 0.5 FTE Intervention Specialist (Math Focus) - Collaborate with the content and academic administrative teams to provide targeted intervention based on assessment data to improve student achievement. (This portion of the position is grant-funded.) The ideal candidate will have strong instructional expertise, experience analyzing student data, and the ability to create and implement effective intervention strategies. Key Responsibilities Provide small group instruction for students with disabilities, ensuring access to the general education curriculum. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with staff, students, and families. Work with content teams and administrators to review assessment data and create instructional groups for targeted math interventions. Implement research-based strategies to support student growth in mathematics. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
