Responsibilities:
- Accurately maintain inventory control and order parts as needed to ensure timely arrival.
- Inspect all parts upon delivery for damage and return incorrect items promptly.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors for status updates and deliveries.
- Maintain a cost projection spreadsheet and coordinate with other departments on product needs.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are functioning correctly.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding vehicle repairs.
- Perform thorough detailing and cleaning of vehicles before final delivery.
- Inspect vehicles for any flaws in the repaired areas and report issues to the General Manager or technician.
- Assist with shop maintenance, cleaning, and organizing equipment and tools.
- Follow all safety procedures and hazardous waste disposal requirements.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and servicing restrooms.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- 1 years of experience in parts operations preferred.
- Prior automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred but not required.
- Ability to analyze cost reports and interpret work orders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
