Job Overview – Assistant Clinical Services Director (RN) :
Take on a leadership role with our client as an Assistant Clinical Services Director (RN) in Suffolk County, NY. In this position, you will oversee clinical operations, interdisciplinary team coordination, and patient outcomes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with clinical managers, home health staff, and healthcare leadership to drive quality improvements, optimize workflows, and support participant care throughout the continuum.
Compensation : $125,000 - $130,000 / year
Location : Suffolk County, NY
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM
Responsibilities as the Assistant Clinical Services Director :
Clinical Oversight : Supervise managers and clinical teams across Day Health Centers, rehab, social work, and home care.
Care Planning & Quality : Lead care planning meetings, track follow-ups, and optimize patient care plans.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to state and federal healthcare regulations and quality improvement initiatives.
Staffing & Resource Management : Balance team assignments, maintain adequate coverage, and allocate resources efficiently.
Training & Development : Implement training programs to enhance team skills and promote professional growth.
Patient Advocacy : Address participant concerns, service grievances, and compliance-related issues to ensure quality care. Qualifications for the Assistant Clinical Services Director :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; NLN-accredited nursing school graduate (BSN preferred).
Experience : Minimum 3 years of administrative leadership experience in home health, long-term care, acute care, or a nursing home setting.
Licensure : Active and unrestricted RN license in New York State required.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), Microsoft Office, and healthcare compliance tools.
Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, patient care coordination, and interdisciplinary team management.
Attributes : Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
Collaboration & Leadership : Ability to mentor staff, drive team engagement, and lead clinical process improvements.
